Apparently, World War 3 is a meme now. Also, the fact that there are 100 thousand, if not millions of world war 3 memes shows that our collective meme culture has really evolved. (no pun intended)
If imitation is the best form of flattery, we as a collective society have a HUGE death wish.

Excerpt from this news article: I don’t deny that it’s easier to direct our growing sense of existential dread into something digestible, like memes, or to just disassociate altogether. But what we, in our various positions of power and influence, need is not more empty noise. It’s time to stop sitting back and observing the injustices of the world and instead take action, in whatever capacity we’re able. If doing so means logging off, perhaps these past few days have proved that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

You might have heard of this little book called 'Infinite Jest'. It's also affectionately called 'the encyclopedic novel'. It's a crime to call Infinite Jest a novel. It is more than a novel. It is an unreadable tome that defies easy explanations. It is a tool made for self-flagellation by the Supreme Lord David Foster Wallace. This novel about addiction is addictive in parts and unreadable for most parts. And after you're done reading you have more questions than answers. You feel like you've wasted your three years on a book that you shouldn't have started in the first place. You're stuck; you search online, and you find answers that are vague for the most part.
